So tired...
At the weekend, we took some time to relax, some more than others! But it was urgently needed: Sara would turn three months on Monday 20 August!

Art and dinner conversation
Yesterday Sara visited an exhibition for the first time (if you don't count her mom's at the Schmuckstüble...): "The Archaeologist" at the Tübingen Kunsthalle, mainly black and white drawings, very interesting (albeit quite looooong!).
And in the evening we also went to dinner at Alexia's and Roland's, which was also a first: first time out in the evening at a friends' place. Sara behaved admirably (and Alexia and Roland too!), participating in the conversation and sleeping when it got too tiring. And always looking incredibly pretty. Well done!
Oh yes, and we played a lot yesterday too!

Lovely weekend
We were fortunate enough to have Matt's parents visiting us last weekend. Katja had planned to come to Tübingen in order to visit Sara (of course!), and to visit her new boyfriend Aron who has just moved here to continue his education. Very cleverly she asked Jürgen and Brigitte if they wanted to come to Tübingen with her ("Don't you want to see Sara again? It is almost a month ago since you saw her last!"), so they decided to drive down, and paff! Katja, just by magic got her ride down! Verrry Cleverrrr! :o)
Anyway, we spend a couple of very nice days together, went for a couple of walks, ate a lot (as usual), but mainly we competed for whom was allowed to hold Sara the longest.

Just before Jürgen and Brigitte left, Sara showed how much she likes taking a bath.

In the late afternoon, once alone again, Matt, Sara and I went for a walk, at the end of which, just before we went home, we stopped in the park in front of our house and let Sara see the trees and the sunshine (she was all sweaty, it was a very hot afternoon, so she enjoyed being out of the pram).

Sara - my little girl
Introduction to me
So this is me, in March, that is when I was still pregnant with my beautiful daughter Sara. I suppose that now, five months on, I look rather similar ;o)
Since 2002 I live in Tübingen, a nice little quaint town in Southern Germany, and am married to Matthias, since 2000. We met at university and it was BANG, we could not do without each other any more.
I am an environmental consultant and work from my home office on a freelance basis. In my spare time, I am and ARTIST.
