It has been a long time without writing anything down - bad me. I had been meaning to write a little diary of Sara's development (and mine with it) but I have not been good at it. Partially because I had decided to write it down with pen and paper, and my hand is simply not used to writing so much any more. Then there are just too many things to do in a day... and then lately there would have been too much to write! She has grown so fast and can do so much more by now it is incredible! All the more the reason to write fast but.... well...

Anyway, Sara walks! She just needs something to hold on to. She is the sweetest when she is pushing her cart in front of her! or the last phalange of mommy's little finger will do too. Her feet are also changing shape, they are slowly becoming real foot shaped feet, instead of these little round sausages that they were before! I'd better do that foot and hand cast print that we got as a present very soon, otherwise she will really have grown into a little girl (with proper feet) before I had the chance to immortalise the baby in her.

I guess the first three steps that she took on her own (without realising it) were two mondays ago (15 July) when I left her at Jutta's while I was at the dentist, and when I came back she was this walking machine that wanted to go in and out of the living room and into the hall and again in and out. And a couple of times I just let go and she continued to make steps - what a moment!

That now happens alot, but she still does not have the confidence to do it alone. It is a matter of a few days by now, I am sure!
